Libyan bazin
Cooking food at homes in Libya is consider as the most important activity, Libya like other country has traditional food that include a lot of health, one of the most traditional famous one which is very delicious is a mound of stiff dough made from barley and served covered and surrounded with a tomato-based sauce with meat (usually lamb), potatoes and sometimes boiled eggs that give a special flavor . It is traditionally served in a large dish for 4 – 5 people and is eaten by hand and this is the traditional way is to eat it with one’s fingers served with lemon, green pepper and Pepsi. It call Libyan bazin the most favorite dish to me, and it is the main dish in weddings, consolation, Eid Al fitir and Al adha and other social events. The taste of bazin is different in Libya each area has different way in preparing it, if you want to taste the real bazin you should go to Nafousah Mountain because they make the dough very hard and this make the bazin more tasty and very delicious. Most of Libyan people prefer eating it in winter season because it keeps our bodies warm. If you did not taste it half of your age was lost.
